to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation
Playformance is committed to curing cystic fibrosis (CF) while offering programs which help inspire all people to embrace challenges and make the most of each moment. When our first born Jolene was diagnosed at 6 months old with cystic fibrosis, it helped clarify our priorities and guide us to make choices in our life to make the most of our time with her. Running a version of Playformance out of our garage, we realized we had something special and much needed in the lives of children and families. Right after our second born, Cecilia, was diagnosed with CF at birth, we opened Playformance at our current location. Our mission to bring play and connection into the lives of as many people as possible became even clearer. When we lost our daughter Jolene, in December 2017 at age 10, due to complications related to cystic fibrosis, our mission to cure this terrible disease became even clearer. We are committed to helping people with CF live long and better lives. With broken hearts we will work to help our daughter Cecilia while honoring our daughter Jolene.
