Our Parkour Programs
Playformance Parkour is a one-of-a-kind movement program which playfully explores parkour in a warm and supportive community. Through rigorous exercise and play, we focus on building parkour skills, achieving personal growth, and strengthening community.
At Playformance, parkour is for everyone. Our coaches serve the whole student and focus on the specific developmental needs of each age group. Classes available for kids ages 3-18.

Parkour Classes for Ages 3–5
Itty Bitty and Me Parkour is a play-based movement program specifically designed to meet the physical and developmental needs of children 3-5 years old. Coaches and curriculum focus on building connections between caregiver and child, having fun with peers, and expanding foundational physical literacy skills.
Itty Bitty & Me Parkour
Meets once a week
Fridays 10–10:45am
Who: All people ages 3-5 and a caregiver, looking for an active movement class and introduction to parkour skills and terminology. Led by our experienced parkour and early childhood coaching team.
What we learn: Parkour movements include running, climbing, swinging, vaulting, jumping, rolling, quadrupedal movement (crawling) and much more! Students will develop listening skills and learn how to participate in a group setting while having fun and getting LOTS of exercise. Caregivers will be with other adults playing and having fun too!
Note: 5 year olds have the option of enrolling in this caregiver/child class OR in our Monday afternoon Itty Bitty Parkour. Itty Bitty (Monday) is for independent learners ages 5-7 and caregivers do not attend.

Parkour Classes for Ages 5,6,7
A perfect class for 5-7 aged students to learn, play, and discover the magic of Playformance Parkour! In this small group class, students learn body confidence, safety awareness, and exciting foundational parkour skills. Our skilled coaches focus on helping kids fall in love with movement and play while building a strong community of friends.
Itty Bitty Parkour
Meets once a week
Mondays 4:30-5:30
Who is it for?: All people aged 5-7 ready for an active hour of fun and learning! This is a drop-off class. No prerequisites. Class may be repeated.
What do we learn?: This class is an introduction to parkour terminology and foundations. Our play-based curriculum includes running, climbing, swinging, vaulting, jumping, landing, rolling, quadrupedal movement (crawling) and much more! Classes consist of an hour of playful parkour learning, obstacle courses, group challenges, and drills. Students will develop valuable listening skills and learn how to participate in a group setting while having fun and getting LOTS of exercise.
Why is Playformance right for your child?: Parkour is a dynamic and inclusive sport that teaches whole body coordination used in all types of movement and athletic practices. At Playformance, we focus on the success of each individual student and help students grow to be good class mates and friends. We believe in play and know children learn and grow best when they are playing.
Note: Children are encouraged to repeat this class multiple times while in this age range. Each and every class is completely different and exciting and children benefit greatly from the relationships they build with their coaches and peers through multiple sessions.

Parkour Classes for Ages 7-9
Youth Parkour One
Meets once a week
Wednesdays 4:30-5:30 or 5:40-6:40

Thursdays 4:30-5:30
Who is it for?: For kids ages 7-9, new to parkour or looking to build their existing parkour skills. No prerequisites. Class may be repeated.
What do we learn?: Youth One Parkour is a supportive and challenging parkour class perfect for all levels. At this age, kids are ready for more challenges and structure in their play and are truly learning how to work and play together. Playformance Youth Parkour class features a curriculum focused on play and creativity through movement. We teach kids how to overcome any obstacle with a playful mindset. Our students will learn to seek out challenges that will test them physically and mentally. Through facing these challenges, they build a solid fitness foundation of strength, flexibility, balance, control, creativity, and discipline. In our classes students play challenging games with others to help grow their social and physical skills. We view parkour as a team sport and teach our students to support and encourage each other through their challenges.
Note: Thursday students who are craving more Playformance time can stay for Open Gym from 5:45-7pm! Kids are welcome to wait in our lounge for Open Gym to start. (Open Gym is an additional fee)

Parkour Classes for Ages 9-12
Youth Parkour Two
Wednesdays 5:40-6:40pm

Thursdays 4:30-5:30pm
Who: Open to all aged 9-11, all skill levels welcome. No prerequisites.
What we learn: At Playformance Youth Parkour Two, students expand their physical awareness and confidence through drills, games, obstacle courses and team challenges. Perfect for beginners and advanced beginners and those looking for a once a week parkour program. Great continuation of learning for those who have completed Youth Parkour One but not required to begin in Youth Two! Students will continue to grow as athletes and people as they are faced with a little more challenge, a little more vigor and a little more fun!
In our classes students play challenging games with others to help reinforce their social and physical skills learned in class. We view parkour as a team sport and teach our students to support and encourage each other through their challenges.

Girls Parkour Two
Tuesdays
4:30pm-6:00pm
Who and what: Girls Youth Parkour Two is a female focused parkour class for ages 9-11. Girls interested in exploring parkour can build self-esteem, camaraderie, and physical strength in a welcoming and challenging environment. This class provides a safe and open environment specifically designed for girls and those more comfortable in a female centered environment. Meet once a week for 90 minutes.
Girls are, of course, welcome to join any of the Youth Classes we offer in addition to, or in lieu of this one. All children who would feel more supported in a girls centered class are welcome. Please contact us if this is the case for your child.

Youth Development Team
Meets twice a week
Mondays 4:30pm-6:00pm
Wednesdays 4:30pm-5:30pm
Who: Perfect for children ages 9-12 looking for a more challenging curriculum and more class time that includes regular outdoor practice. Previous parkour experience recommended. Previous experience in our Youth One or Youth Two classes recommended but not required.
What we learn: Athletes will expand on the basics of parkour movements and styles and increase their skills in an out of the gym. Coaches emphasize safety skills for the outdoor environment and navigation. Athletes will form closer relationships with their peers and coaches due to the increased time together and children will benefit from belonging to a supportive team.

Three great offerings for your tween or teen based on interests and time commitment. All middle and high schoolers need more connections and vigorous exercise and Playformance gives them both. Whether your middle or high schooler is all about parkour or just looking to have some fun, we have the level for you.

Girls Parkour Team
Meets twice a week:
Tuesdays 4:30-6:00pm
Saturdays 7:00am-9:00am
The Girls Team is our highest level of commitment for students looking to be a part of a team that empowers girls.
Students must attend Team Tryouts and Skills Assessment on August 16th. Our tryouts are not skill based and newcomers are more than welcome to join the team. Our try outs are designed to ensure students are entering the right program and to asses the needs of the incoming group.

Teams revolve around two main focuses: Parkour and Youth Development.
Parkour: In our classes students will be pushed to expand their physical abilities, in rigorous workouts, skill based exercises and games. The class will take a deep dive into learning new parkour moves and refining their abilities. The curriculum will focus on building life long athletes with a healthy relationship to movement.
Youth Development: The Team has a heavy focus on building social skills, self-worth and healthy choice-making. As this team works with students from middle school all the way until graduating high school; our focus is on giving our athletes the skills and confidence to enter life ready to go on their own adventures. Our coaches facilitate a healthy atmosphere of challenge where students feel proud to try their best and support their peers.
Youth Parkour Three
Meets once a week:
Wednesdays 6:45-7:45 pm
Who and What: The Parkour Three class is designed for teens of all skill levels. Coaches work closely with students to work through physical and mental challenges. Sign your child up to join a community of athletes encouraging each other and making friends.
At this age social anxiety is a common factor holding teens back from reaching their potential. Our trained coaches are here to meet your Childs needs and ensure they are challenged at their level and leave our class feeling proud.

Travel Parkour Team
Meets three times a week:
Tuesdays 4:30-6:00pm,
Thursdays 4:30-6:00
Saturdays 7:00am- 9:00am
The Travel Team is our highest level of commitment. Students who are ready for challenge and adventure should try-out. Prior parkour experience recommended.
Team Tryouts and Skills Assessment are on August 16th, new students must attend and be accepted before signing up. Sign up here.

Taught By Coaches Cole, Matt, Lorcan, and Jakelynn
Tuesdays and Thursdays are 90 minute classes heading into downtown Tucson to practice parkour in the wild. Saturdays are two hours inside the gym dedicated to learning new moves in a safer environment.
Our Teams revolve around two main focuses: Parkour and Youth Development.
Parkour: In our classes students will be pushed to expand their physical abilities, in rigorous workouts, skill based exercises and games. The class will take a deep dive into learning new parkour moves and refining their abilities. Curriculum will focus on building life long athletes with a healthy relationship to movement.
Youth Development: The Team has a heavy focus on building social skills, self-worth and healthy choice-making. As this team works with students from middle school all the way until graduating high school our focus is on giving our athletes the skills and confidence to enter life ready to go on their own adventures and create healthy relationships. Our trips are a great example of how we teach these skills. Students are responsible for packing their own bags, will have many chores to complete and are expected to be an engaged member part of making the trip happen. When students do make mistakes our coaches are here to kindly redirect and encourage them to continue improving.
